If in the East Villas and not in the main tower, it can be a very long way from the lobby to your room - especially if you have things to carry. I had to go in and out of several doors (not automatic) and up an elevator to get to my East Villa room. ...read more

Great location to Port Everglades and Convention center. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Wonderful to be able to walk out of hotel and be on Intracoastal or walk over bridge. Only 1 mile to beach and a

I got an excellent Priceline rate. On arrival, I was upgraded to a Tower Room with a terrific view of the marine (not the cruise port and highway). The room was spacious, clean, and had a good-sized balcony. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Not a good experience. The rooms have modern furniture but it is not durable. The door would not close so I had to call the front desk. The toilet seat was broken, so that had to be fixed. To park they charge $23 to valet, $19 to self park. They also charged $12.95 per day for internet service that kept throwing me off line. I also could not get a late checkout on Sunday. I've stayed at this hotel before and always had a very comfortable stay. Beautiful location right at the Marina with fabulous views and only a few minutes drive to Ft. Lauderdale beach. This great location does come with a price - the traffic can be a bit intense! ...read more
